Wednesday March 29, 2017
Tomorrow (Thursday) night will see the 'Cases' Somerset Rebels head to Sheffield's Owlerton Stadium to take on the Tigers in an Inter-League Challenge match.

The match will revive memories of last year's 2nd-tier play-off Grand Final, in which Somerset prevailed over the South Yorkshire side, but the 2017 season will see the Rebels compete in the top-tier of British speedway for the first time in the club's history.

With Somerset captain Josh Grajczonek also doubling-up with Sheffield in the newly branded SGB Championship for 2017, Somerset have allowed him to ride for Sheffield on this occasion, though the Rebels would normally have precedence on his services, and, instead, will move Jake Allen up into the main body of the Somerset team, while 2016 Sheffield reserve, Nathan Greaves will guest at number 7 for the Rebels.
